Handwritten Wines has long been regarded for it’s one-of-a-kind epicurean events representing the epitome of luxury Napa Valley living. Our boutique winery based in Yountville offers world class events and wine country experiences in collaboration with our friends and local restaurants and businesses to offer Napa Valley visitors a destination experience unlike anything else in the world.
The holiday and winter season is a time that we eagerly anticipate each and every year allowing our community to roll out the festive Yountville experience! This year in collaboration with Napa Valley Aloft and Ottimo Napa Valley, we’re offering the ultimate elevated experience. Arrive in Napa and see the Valley from above with a hot air balloon ride as the sun rises over the vineyards.
Partnering with Napa Valley Aloft, we’re offering this limited time package, which concludes with a tasting of our premium handcrafted wines at Handwritten’s SOYO House in Yountville. Guests of The Optimal Yountville Experience will enjoy a 40-minute to 1 hour balloon ride (*depending on wind conditions), followed by a post-flight brunch at Ottimo Restaurant. Guests will make friends with 8-12 other balloon passengers as you share in breathtaking scenes above the Napa Valley. Set flight and enjoy the scenic agricultural surrounds from a bird’s eye view before touching down for a day of epicurean adventure.
Continue the morning with a post-flight brunch and mimosas at Ottimo Napa Valley. Guests will enjoy a seasonal spread of cold press orange juice, artisan coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Italian Prosecco mimosa, assorted breakfast muffins, local preserves and fruit platter. Start the morning in style with soft scrambled egg, olive oil, scallion and vegetable frittata, local prosciutto, house-made sourdough and irresistible skillet potatoes.
Finish the day’s adventure at Handwritten Wines for a unique handcrafted wine tasting experience. All within walking distance from the heart of Yountville, Napa Valley. Handwritten’s Short Story experience features 3 wines from the Handwritten portfolio. Our boutique winery tasting experience is accompanied with white truffle potato chips and other curated bites.
