This wine is meticulously crafted from a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Semillon, sourced exclusively from our esteemed estate vineyard nestled in the picturesque Wooden Valley.

Our current suggested warm weather pairing for this handcrafted wine is a Mango Shrimp Salad, which is easy to make and delightful when served with The Author. Here is the recipe:
MANGO SHRIMP SALAD
Serves 4
Ingredients
One mango, diced
One avocado, diced
¼ Cup cilantro, chopped
One lime, juiced1 pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
One tablespoon of Extra Virgin olive oil
One tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning
1-1½ tablespoons crème fraiche
Microgreens or edible flowers
Directions
- Season the shrimp with the seafood rub and then sauté in the Olive Oil over medium-high heat. Sauté for about two minutes per side, turning only once, then remove and set aside.
- Mix all remaining ingredients except for the crème fraiche and micro greens.
- Spread the crème fraiche on the middle of a small plate and scoop a ¼ cup of the mango/avocado mix on top.
- Place the shrimp on top and garnish with micro greens.
