Crafting our Handwritten Wines 2019 “Three Words”
An authentic “field” blend, “Three Words” is a composite of the best characteristics of three varieties sourced from a single highly-respected vineyard near the summit of Mt Veeder along the western slope bordering Napa Valley.
The “Three Words” blend combines three high-end red wine varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
The soils, climate, elevation, and orientation of the vineyards on Mt. Veeder yield unique and special qualities in each variety. Handcrafted by Handwritten’s team of artisans to take advantage of the strengths of each variety, the result is a superior high-end red wine that is stunningly integrated with expressive, delicious flavors.
Tasting Notes for the 2019 ”Three Words” Blend
With notes of blueberry, cassis, and hints of anise on the nose, the palate bursts with flavors of blueberry pie and dark cacao, accentuated by the lingering spice of cinnamon and vanilla.
