Cabernet Sauvignon is one of America’s favorite wines. From coast to coast, more and more people choose a good Cabernet Sauvignon for their preferred wine choice.

Since good Cabernet Sauvignon tends to have higher tannins and a savory character, the wine pairs well with foods that are higher in fat and have savory flavors. The most common pairings for a good Cabernet Sauvignon include red meats, prime rib, New York strip, and filet mignon. Lamb is also a popular pairing, as well as fattier cheeses.

This wine is also an excellent option for sauces or reductions.
