The final event in the Handwritten Wines Seven Culinary Wonders series will feature the incomparable and delicious truffle. This virtual presentation offers the perfect opportunity to learn about, cook with, and discover the flavorful contribution of the famous Black Truffle in your culinary experience.

The 7th Culinary Wonder of the World Presentation: The Truffle
As the culmination of Handwritten Wines Seven Culinary Wonders series, Resident Chef, Chef MikeC, will present a virtual live cooking demonstration featuring truffles on December 10 at 5:30 PM PST.
This boutique winery’s virtual program will demonstrate truffle handling and presentation of some delicious recipes that incorporate the aromatic shavings of fresh Black Truffle.
Recipes Using Fresh Truffles

- Black Truffle Pasta
- Black Truffle Grilled Cheese
- Seared Sea Scallops with Black Truffle & Ghee
Note that the sensory impact of truffles is so noteworthy that each recipe only calls for a single ounce of the ingredient to create the target profile.
Participation in the Truffle Presentation
Registered participants will receive a fresh Black Truffle plus a truffle shaver and recipes to enjoy the flavorful essence.
And, since no gourmet meal is complete without the perfect wine pairing, each participant will receive bottles of both the 2010 and 2011 Handwritten Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
